2 Hour Snowmobile Adventure
with Bison Sightings
Tour Description:
Join us on a breathtaking family-friendly 2-Hour Steamboat Springs, Colorado scenic snowmobile tour through Lucky 8 Ranch an American Bison ranch. Located a short drive from Steamboat Mountain Resort. Take a spectacular 20-mile cruise around our stunning property. Ride through snow-covered hay meadows, venture into the Trout Creek Valley floor, and ascend to different lookouts with endless panoramic views of Routt County and the Northern Rocky Mountains. Learn a bit about its History & Heritage. Drive by and view our National Mammal.

Note: All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Well maintained 2019 & 2020 Ski-Doo snowmobiles!
A custom-designed facemask!
A place to fill up your water bottle, warm beverages, helmets & goggles.
A limited amount of rental clothing available (boots, pants, jackets & gloves)

Rules & Requirements
Requirements

All drivers must present a valid driver’s license at check-in (mandatory for all drivers).

Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license. All drivers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

Must be 5 years old to be a passenger.

Experience not necessary. Instructions, safety brief and equipment orientation will be provided before tour begins
-
Children as young as 5 years old may ride as a passenger with a responsible adult or with a guide (based on availability).

Be sure your clothing and personal items will withstand the cold, snow, wet, and the bouncing around!

We will not be responsible for personal property.

Winter boots are required for your safety.

Rental clothing (rental snow suits, boots, and gloves are available). (LIMITED SUPPLY)

Pregnant women, anyone with heart, neck or back problems, or recent joint replacement surgeries are not allowed to participate.

Recommended weight per vehicle not to exceed 350 lbs.

Driver is 100% responsible for vehicular damage.

Helmets & eye protection is required and provided.

Have fun!

NO SMOKING at anytime throughout the entire tour or on Lucky 8 Ranch property.

Review and understand the operations of the vehicle. Ask Questions!

Wear protective clothing, no sandals or open toed shoes.
-
Helmets and eye protection is mandatory while on a vehicle.
-
Follow the trail and maintain a "safe" distance from the vehicle in front of you.

NO PASSING, NO LAGGING BEHIND, NO SLING SHOTTING, NO DONUTS, NO DRIVING OFF TRAIL. (We have designated off trail areas)

Slow is always better & more safe.
-
Watch out for bison & wildlife. DO NOT APPROACH or ANTAGONIZE.
-
If you have vehicle trouble, stop and turn off your engine. DO NOT GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE.

If you get separated from the group. Stop and Wait! DO NOT COME LOOK FOR US! We WILL find you.

This is a guided tour. This is not a thrill ride.

This tour is considered a high adventure tour. Unless these rule are followed there is a possibility of personal injury or flipping a vehicle.

Be conscientious of others on the tour, as everyone has a different riding ability.

Go slow, be safe, and watch out for each other.

Be respectful of Lucky 8 Ranch property. This is our home!
For the safety of everyone in the tour, failure to follow these rules will result in having your driving privileges removed immediately!
